Storage tanks designed for non-aggressive chemical substances are available in both vertical and horizontal configurations. During production, we select the appropriate resin system to ensure compatibility with the medium specified by the customer while providing excellent resistance to corrosion and elevated temperatures.
These tanks are commonly used for storing vegetable and mineral oils, aqueous solutions, paints, suspensions, glycols, and brines. They are valued for their high strength, lightweight construction, and long service life.
We also manufacture process tanks designed for storing corrosive and toxic substances. These structures are engineered to operate in demanding environments and withstand aggressive chemical exposure. Tanks intended for corrosive liquids can be equipped with filling nozzles, vent connections, drain outlets, inspection openings, chemical-resistant linings, and lifting points.
Each tank is individually designed and adapted to the specific operational requirements of the facility in which it will be installed.
TROKOTEX provides comprehensive support throughout every stage of the investment process, regardless of project size or complexity.
Our services begin with the preparation of complete engineering documentation, including technical drawings, layouts, and all necessary formal approvals. This ensures that your infrastructure complies with all applicable regulations and standards.
Once site preparation and foundations have been completed by the customer, we install the tank and equip it with all required accessories, including ladders and access platforms. Our goal is to deliver a fully operational solution ready for immediate use.
For pressure vessels, we also handle registration and approval procedures with the Polish Office of Technical Inspection (UDT).

Installation and Equipment
Tank assembly is carried out directly at the customer’s site. Transporting tanks in modular sections allows for cost-effective transportation and installation, even in locations with limited access, such as industrial plant basements.
Depending on the tank type and the stored medium, additional technological equipment, instrumentation, and insulation systems may be required. This is particularly important in industries where continuous monitoring of product levels and tank integrity is essential.
We manufacture storage tanks equipped with inspection hatches, minimum and maximum level sensors, leak detection systems, filters, pumps, and numerous other accessories that improve operational efficiency while ensuring that stored materials maintain their required properties.
Our tanks are manufactured from fiberglass reinforced with polyester, vinyl ester, or isophthalic resins. Fiberglass offers exceptional technical properties and provides investors with a wide range of design possibilities.
One of its key advantages is outstanding chemical resistance. Our tanks can safely store most chemical substances, including highly aggressive media. Fiberglass is completely resistant to corrosion and unaffected by prolonged exposure to moisture.
The material is also resistant to UV radiation, allowing our storage tanks to be used both above ground and underground.
Despite their exceptional strength, fiberglass composite structures are remarkably lightweight. Their weight is approximately 20% of concrete structures and only 25% of comparable stainless steel constructions. This significantly simplifies transportation and installation while reducing project costs.
Fiberglass also offers excellent thermal insulation properties and is non-conductive. As a result, our tanks can be safely installed near high-voltage power lines, railway infrastructure, tram systems, and other environments where electrical currents are present.
GRP/FRP storage and industrial tanks are among the flagship products in the TROKOTEX portfolio. They are designed for storing a wide variety of media, including water, acids, alkalis, and industrial liquids.
Our composite tanks are also ideally suited for storing drinking water, rainwater, and process water.
TROKOTEX storage tanks are widely used in both public and private sectors. They are trusted by designers of wastewater treatment plants, water treatment facilities, industrial contractors, power plants, and environmental protection projects.
The resin layer does not contaminate the stored water, ensuring maximum purity and safety.
Our tanks offer exceptional resistance to corrosion, even in highly demanding environments.
We can manufacture both compact units and large custom-designed tanks with non-standard geometries.
The tanks combine low weight with excellent mechanical strength, UV resistance, and long-term durability.

Storage tanks can be classified according to many criteria. One of the most important distinctions is between pressure vessels and atmospheric (non-pressure) storage tanks.
Pressure vessels are used wherever gases or liquids must be stored at pressures above atmospheric levels. They are widely utilized in the petrochemical, energy, heating, and chemical industries. These tanks must withstand varying temperatures, pressure fluctuations, and environmental conditions. For this reason, pressure vessels are typically cylindrical in shape, ensuring even pressure distribution throughout the structure.

Atmospheric storage tanks manufactured from fiberglass composites are non-pressure solutions. They feature a simpler design and provide greater flexibility in terms of dimensions and geometry. Since the stored medium does not exert significant internal pressure, thinner wall constructions can be used.
An important safety advantage is that, in the event of leakage, liquids escape under significantly lower pressure, making incidents easier to manage.
This does not mean that atmospheric tanks are suitable only for non-hazardous substances. They can safely store AdBlue®, hydrochloric acid, low-concentration sodium hydroxide solutions, pesticides, diesel fuel, water, and many other liquids. The density of the stored medium is not a limiting factor, making them suitable for both low-density and high-density liquids.
We are pleased to present our dedicated Tank Configurator, designed to simplify and enhance the process of selecting the storage tank that best meets your requirements.
The configurator allows you to choose the appropriate tank type and specify its capacity (m³) and diameter (mm). Based on the selected parameters, a technical drawing and detailed technical specification are automatically generated, providing all essential information about the configured tank.
