Industrial Mixers

A typical industrial mixer consists of two key components: a storage tank made of chemical-resistant GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) and an agitator manufactured from stainless steel or polypropylene (PP). This combination ensures excellent durability and resistance to aggressive chemicals.

Most industrial mixers are built with vertical cylindrical tanks. Trokotex offers mixers with flat bottoms, extended skirts, and other custom configurations, allowing the tank capacity and mixing performance to be tailored to specific process requirements.

For specialized applications, industrial mixers can also be designed with horizontal or rectangular tanks, providing optimized mixing performance and better adaptation to the available installation space.

Depending on the characteristics of the processed medium and the required level of homogenization, mixers can be equipped with vertical agitators (either low-speed or high-speed) or side-entry agitators.

To further improve mixing efficiency, agitators may be installed off-center or combined with baffles that prevent vortex formation. In horizontal and rectangular tanks, two or more agitators can be installed to achieve superior mixing performance.
