Type ZH z wanną bezpieczeństwa
Horizontal Type ZH cylindrical tanks are available in two configurations:
– with two integrated support saddles, or
– with an integrated continuous support base.
These tanks are designed for horizontal installation and are the ideal solution where limited installation height makes the use of a vertical tank impractical.
Above-ground Type ZH retention tanks also provide an additional water reserve for fire protection systems and can serve as a storage reservoir for process water used in water treatment plants (WTPs).
Advantages and Benefits
The secondary containment bund is an independent safety structure designed to safely contain the entire contents of the primary tank in the unlikely event of a leak.
The bund capacity is at least equal to the volume of the storage tank, providing complete environental protection against accidental spills and contamination.
Each bund is equipped with a 2-inch externally threaded drain connection, allowing safe and convenient emptying when required.
The secondary containment structure is self-supporting, meaning it can be installed directly on a compacted sand base without the need for a reinforced concrete foundation. This significantly reduces construction time and installation costs.
Thanks to its lightweight GRP construction and integrated lifting lugs, the bund can be transported and positioned with ease.
Special positioning brackets are installed inside the bund to ensure precise and secure placement of the storage tank.

* Electric heating system with heating cable and control cabinet,
recommended for extreme climates or additional frost protection. All Trokotex type ZH tanks are manufactured using premium-quality resins and glass fibres, providing exceptional mechanical strength, long service life and outstanding resistance to corrosion and aggressive chemicals.
