Type ZH
Horizontal Tanks with Two Support Saddles
Type ZH horizontal tanks are designed for horizontal installation and are the ideal solution where limited installation height prevents the use of a vertical storage tank.
Above-ground Type ZH retention tanks provide an additional water reserve for fire protection systems and can also be used as storage tanks for process water required in water treatment plants (WTPs).
Type ZH horizontal cylindrical tanks are available in two configurations:
* With two integrated support saddles
* With an integrated continuous support base

As every tank is manufactured to the customer’s individual specifications, the size and location of process nozzles, inspection hatches, and threaded connections are fully customizable without affecting the final product price.
All Type ZH tanks are designed as atmospheric (non-pressurized) storage vessels.
These tanks have also been developed for the storage and management of formation water associated with mineral extraction processes, including natural gas production. Their unique structural design ensures safe operation and efficient handling of water generated during gas extraction.
