This is important, for example, in the case of work platforms, manhole covers or stair treads, located outdoors. Making them from stainless steel composite grates, instead of steel, has a number of advantages.
First, they provide zero or minimal operating costs, which is a significant savings for users. In addition, their low weight makes the platforms about 60% lighter than steel ones, making them easier to transport and install.
