Industrial scrubbers

Are you looking for professional infrastructure to reduce gas pollution emissions for your company? Our range includes high-quality, large-scale scrubbers designed for the purification of air and gases from solid substances they may contain. We manufacture them using Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP), known for its strength, low weight, and high resistance to concentrated chemicals.

Thanks to the wide availability of industrial resins with varied temperature and chemical resistance properties, it is possible to produce a chemical scrubber that works optimally under specific conditions while remaining cost-effective.

The scrubbers we manufacture are capable of operating in extremely harsh conditions, including high or low temperatures, exposure to aggressive media such as gases or liquids, as well as harmful solid particles.

Advantages and benefits of using Trokotex scrubbers

Investing in our scrubbers offers numerous advantages. Your company becomes not only more efficient but also significantly more environmentally friendly. So why should you choose our absorbers?

Lightweight construction

By using Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP), we provide lightweight infrastructure components that are easy to transport, install, and relocate if your business changes premises.

A step towards sustainable development

Our FRP scrubbers are fully eco-friendly. This means that by installing them, your company is actively contributing to sustainable development and the implementation of ESG principles. If you are required to carry out non-financial reporting, purchasing environmentally responsible chemical scrubbers is a valuable move towards legal compliance in this area.

Easy maintenance

All our scrubbers are made from a material that is not only durable but also easy to clean. This translates to low operational costs and convenience, as there is no need for specialised cleaning equipment or agents.

Corrosion resistance

The GRP material is completely resistant to moisture, aggressive chemicals, and both low and high temperatures. You won’t have to worry about corrosion or loss of tank integrity over time.

Specification of scrubbers for pollutant oxidation

The basic operating principle of a scrubber involves directing polluted air into a chamber containing water mixed with a cleansing agent. As a result of the chemical reaction, contaminants are transferred from the air into the liquid, and clean air is released into the atmosphere.

We typically use vertical cylindrical tanks as the base for manufacturing our chemical scrubbers. However, we offer a broad range of designs tailored to the specific needs of each customer, taking into account the contact surface between the gas and liquid phases as well as the expected efficiency. Depending on the application, we can also produce horizontal or cuboid-shaped absorbers.

Scrubbers are available in several variations, each with its own specific use and characteristics in terms of diameter, type of pollutants removed, degree of harmful substance reduction, and capacity measured in cubic metres per hour.

Thanks to the use of GRP, our FRP scrubbers are virtually maintenance-free. Once installed and configured, they generate minimal operational costs.

The efficiency of transferring pollutants from the gas to the liquid phase largely depends on the number of packing units used. The more units present, the more effective the gas treatment process will be. Our team assists clients in determining the technical details of their orders.

As standard, our absorbers consist of an absorption chamber and additional equipment, including inlet and outlet nozzles for liquid and gas. At the customer’s request, we install structured mass transfer elements such as Raschig rings, Białecki rings or Pall rings. The selection of materials used for the packing media plays a vital role in ensuring chemical neutrality in relation to the substances being processed.

Where are scrubbers used?

Scrubbers enable efficient removal of harmful substances from gas emissions. As a result, the gases released into the atmosphere contain only trace amounts of contaminants—well within the limits defined by applicable regulations. These systems significantly reduce the concentration of compounds such as hydrochloric acid, formic acid, sulphuric acid, chlorine, formaldehyde, and nitrogen oxides. The efficiency of pollutant removal should reach up to 99%, making high-performance chemical scrubbers a vital component in many industrial environments.

For this reason, reliable scrubbers are essential in a wide range of facilities, including factories, power plants, wastewater treatment plants, steelworks, waste incineration plants, and any setting where large volumes of airborne pollutants are generated.
